The ESWW is THE annual event in the European Space Weather and Space Climate calendar. This international meeting is organized each year in collaboration with leading members of the European space weather community. Initially a forum for Europe, it has evolved into a global event attracting participants from around the world.
Our group has presented its latest research at the European Space Weather Week 2025. The group, led by Prof. Dario Del Moro, will showcase cutting-edge contributions in solar flare forecasting and ionospheric prediction using advanced machine learning techniques, including [mention specific methods].
Simone Chierichini gave the talk “Attention-Based Deep Learning for Solar Flare Forecasting from SHARP Time Series“ in the framework of the CORNERSTONE project
Simone Mestici gave the talks “Memory and Scale-Invariance in Solar Flares Dynamics“ and “Climatological Modeling and Short-Term Forecasting of Southern Hemisphere Ionospheric Convection Patterns Using Diffusion Models and SuperDARN Data” and presented the poster “ASR: Archival Solar flaRes catalogue“
Dario Del Moro presented the poster “SEE: A CubeSat to study solar activity and Space Weather“ and was co-convener of the CD1 session “Combination of physics-based and data-driven methods for space weather forecasting“
